Bro AI — Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Bro AI account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This page explains how to delete your account from inside the app, and how to request deletion if you can no longer access the app.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Bro AI app.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open the Settings section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning, then confirm by tapping Delete Forever.

Your account and data are erased from our servers immediately, your session is signed out, and you are returned to the welcome screen. You will never be asked for your password to delete your account.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, you can ask us to delete your account for you. Tap the button below to open a pre-filled email, add the email address registered with your account, and send it.

For your security: before we delete anything, we verify that you own the account by confirming the request from the account's registered email address. We will never ask you for your password. Requests that cannot be verified as coming from the account owner will not be actioned.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all of the following from our backend:

  • Your account and authentication record (email, password hash, device identity)
  • Your profile and nickname
  • The club you support and the club Bro backs against you
  • Every call you made against Bro, and how each one settled
  • Your head-to-head record — wins, losses, draws and streaks
  • Your answers to live match moments and your penalty shootout scores
  • Every feed item Bro generated for you
  • Your notification preferences, alert history and language settings
  • All active sessions and access tokens (you are signed out everywhere)

Deletion runs as a single transaction, so it either removes all of the above or none of it — a half-deleted account is not a state you can end up in.

Data stored only on your device is also erased when you delete your account from inside the app, and is removed entirely if you uninstall the app.

What is retained, and for how long

  • Anonymized, aggregate statistics (for example, total reaction counts) that contain no information identifying you and cannot be linked back to you or your account. Retained indefinitely because they are fully anonymous.
  • Standard server and security logs generated by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), which may contain IP addresses and request metadata. These are kept only for security and abuse prevention and are automatically purged within 30 days.
  • Football data (fixtures, results, clubs and competitions) is not personal data and is retained independently of your account.

We do not retain your club, your rivalry, your calls, your record or any other personal content after deletion.

Want a copy first? You can export your data before deleting it — your account, the club you support, the club Bro backs, every call you made and your full record — as a machine-readable file. Ask at support@broai.app from the email address registered with your account and we will send it to you.

Separate accounts

Bro AI and AI Daddy are separate apps with separate accounts. Deleting your Bro AI account only affects Bro AI. If you also use AI Daddy, that account is independent and is not affected — delete it separately from within AI Daddy or at its own deletion page.
