1. Intro — Straight Up

Welcome to BigBro AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We built BigBro to be a no-BS big-brother AI that actually helps. This Privacy Policy tells you exactly what data we collect through the BigBro mobile application (the "App") and our backend, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the App you agree to the practices below.

BigBro gives you 15 specialized AI agents (study, writing, research, social media, style, documents, travel, translator, schedule, career, life advice, cooking, fitness, hustle, gaming), memory that sticks, file uploads, scheduled reminders, and favorites. Some of those features need a small amount of server-side storage — that's what this policy is about.

2. What We Collect

2.1 Stuff you give us

  • Account data: If you sign up, we store your email and a hashed + salted password. Using Guest Mode? We just create an anonymous ID — no email, no name, no phone.
  • Profile & prefs: Optional nickname, preferred language (14 supported), timezone, and any agent-specific preferences you save (e.g., dietary notes for the cooking agent).
  • Agent conversations: Messages you send, files you upload, and the AI replies.
  • Agent memory: Short facts you explicitly ask an agent to remember. Viewable and deletable at any time.
  • Output history & favorites: Copies of your AI responses so you can revisit them, plus which ones you starred.
  • Scheduled tasks: Reminder text and the time you want to be pinged.
  • Support emails: Anything you write to us.

2.2 Stuff collected automatically

  • Device info: Device model, Android version, OEM manufacturer (only to show the right battery-optimization hint), and app version.
  • Push token: If you turn on notifications, so we can deliver reminders.
  • Usage analytics: Anonymized events to fix bugs and make BigBro smoother.
  • Technical logs: Short-lived server logs (IP, timestamp, path) for security; deleted within 30 days.

2.3 Stuff we do NOT collect

  • Your real name, phone number, home address, or ID
  • GPS / precise location
  • Your photos, contacts, or files unless you upload them yourself
  • Payment info (BigBro is free right now)
  • Health or biometric data

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Run the 15 agents and answer your prompts
  • Keep context across sessions (only facts you choose to save)
  • Show your output history and favorites
  • Fire your scheduled reminders
  • Translate the UI to your language
  • Keep the service secure (rate limiting, anti-abuse)
  • Fix bugs and improve features using anonymized patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use your chats to train AI models.

4. Where Your Data Lives

  • On your device: Local chat cache, language, and session state sit in encrypted SQLite + SharedPreferences.
  • On our servers: Account, memory, output history, scheduled tasks, and preferences are stored on Cloudflare Workers + D1 (globally-replicated SQLite).
  • In transit: Everything between the App and our backend is TLS 1.3 (HTTPS).
  • AI processing: Your prompts are sent to our AI provider (see Section 5) to generate a reply, then discarded by the provider.

5. Third-Party Processors

  • LongCat AI — runs the language model that powers every agent.
  • Brave Search (optional) — when an agent needs current info, your query may be sent to Brave.
  • Cloudflare — hosts our backend API, database, and this website.
  • Google Play Services — app install, crash reporting, and push notification delivery on Android.

No advertising networks. No cross-site trackers.

6. Kids' Privacy

BigBro is rated 13+. We don't knowingly collect data from kids under 13. If you think one slipped through, email us and we'll delete the account fast.

7. Your Rights & Controls

  • Access: See every memory, favorite, and scheduled task in-app.
  • Deletion: Delete memories, favorites, tasks one-by-one in the App. For full account deletion, email us — we'll wipe your server-side data within 30 days.
  • Export: Ask for a copy of your data in machine-readable form.
  • Rectification: Edit your profile and memories any time.
  • Opt out of notifications: Toggle push reminders in the App or Android system settings.
  • Guest Mode: Use BigBro with no account at all.

EU/UK users get extra GDPR rights. California folks get CCPA/CPRA rights. Email us to use any of them.

8. How Long We Keep It

  • Account and saved data: until you delete it or close your account
  • Memory / favorites / tasks: until you remove them
  • Usage analytics: aggregated, kept up to 12 months
  • Security logs: auto-purged after 30 days

9. International Transfers

Cloudflare is a global network, so your data may be processed in data centers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, Cloudflare's data-processing addenda).

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures: TLS everywhere, hashed passwords, short-lived API tokens, server-side secrets, rate limiting, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we take it seriously.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll bump the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app. Continued use means you accept the new version.
